The Book Title is Out and I’m Trusting the Process
Phew! So far, 2024 has been full of surprises. I’m pregnant (again) with my second child. All while anticipating my book launch this November with PaperKat Books!
Last time I sent over an update it was in March. I was just coming to gripes with the fact that I’d be giving birth again for another consecutive year. I know, crazy.
I’ve been writing in my journal more frequently now. After months of testing, I’ve settled into Threads as well for my microblogging account. I have launched a new website using Framer. I’ve also worked with such amazing talents for the book cover, such as Jane Pica, and for my book campaigns with Sol Creator Studios.
Not to mention, I signed my very first NDA this year for a huge creative project in the works.
Today, I’m more fully adjusted. I got into so many new things while pregnant this second time around, so much so, that I feel women can achieve anything even with life growing inside of them.
Up until recently, I’ve been more active in author instagram. While I do wish I had more followers, I’m happy with the support I’ve been receiving as the pre-orders of my book are being set. Engagement is higher more than ever, and I’m just so grateful. Also, if you’re reading this, thank you! I’m so glad you’re here too. ☕️
I just got off the phone the other day with my publisher and I’m beyond thrilled to know that things are slowly taking shape. I sent over the designs for the bookmarks yesterday, lovingly created by moi. What’s more is I’m also gearing up for my ARC readers by the end of September! To top it off, I’m also getting ready to fly to Manila for marketing shoots with my book.
Writing it all down makes it feel all so surreal. I can’t believe how so many things happened in between moments of chaos and cozy.
I’m so grateful for it all, and I possibly can’t begin to enumerate all the small wins here, because there have been just so many in between the good and bad days. Looks like I’m gearing up for Fall Season, which is, the time in the year when I feel my strongest.

Getting into acrylic gouache for the first time! It’s a perfect mix of watercolor and oil based acrylic paint, and I’m so in love.
Finally gotten into consistently journaling and it’s helped me get through the busiest and toughest of days.
